Tour Description - Meet with Long Beach Airport (LGB) Director and COMTO member Cynthia Guidry. Tour LGB’s charming and easygoing airport, which is in the process of a $110M modernization program. Sights to see include
the new Ticketing Lobby (opened May 2022), the behind-the-scenes Checked Baggage Inspection System (opened May 2022), the Consolidated Baggage Claim (opening April 2023), and the outdoor concourse. Guests will also enjoy a special
tour of the LGB airfield. 90 minutes. Closed toes shoes required.

Tour Description – Aboard the 2 hour narrated excursion, you will get close to operations at the two busiest Ports in the nation. See towering cranes, massive vessels, the most advanced and green terminal in the world,
new infrastructure projects such as the new Long Beach bridge and the award winning Everport Terminal Redevelopment, the bustling Los Angeles Main Channel, and possibly even catch a glimpse of local marine life. Once aboard and
underway, you will see what happens every day at the Ports and learn some historical and interesting facts along the way. You will also learn about the variety of groundbreaking green programs the Ports are implementing to reduce
the environmental impact of operations.

Tour Description: Tour of hydrogen fuel cell fleet housed at the Pomona Operations and Maintenance facility where a 25,000-gallon hydrogen fuel tank – the largest in southern California is housed. Foothill Transit
launched Los Angeles County’s first three hydrogen fuel cell (HFC) buses into revenue service on Dec. 5 on the agency’s Line 291, which serves Pomona, Claremont and La Verne. This historic move is the vanguard of an order of 33
hydrogen fuel cell buses, the largest order of HFC buses in North America, manufactured by New Flyer. The full fleet of 33 HFC buses were ready for service February 2023. The hydrogen buses produce zero emissions, emitting only water vapor.
